About us

Cristeros Armory brings a Catholic twist to traditional western apparel through subtle influxes of the faith in the forms of sacred images, icons, verses of scripture, Saints' quotes, and dogmas (church teachings). Cristeros Armory exists to remind folks that we fight a daily spiritual battle and that death is a certainty, but there is hope and salvation in Christ.

Why Cristeros?

The Cristeros were a group of Catholics who rose up in opposition to Mexican Dictator Plutarco Calles' ban on public religion, known as Calles Law. The Cristero War, or "La Cristiada", spanned from August 3rd, 1926 to June 21st, 1929. The government called the rebels "Cristeros" since they invoked the name of Christ the King. Many of the Cristeros were martyred for their faith, and it is their courage that inspired the name for our brand. We remember their bravery through those tough times and hope to emulate their unwavering faith throughout our own spiritual battles.

Why Armory?

An armory is a storage place for weapons and other war equipment; It is a place where arms and armor are made, and where an arsenal is kept. Since we are all engaged in a spiritual battle at all times, we must strive to use our spiritual weapons and put on the full armor of God consistently. Cristeros Armory provides items that remind you to keep up the good fight, to take up our cross and follow the Lord, to never give in to sin, and to hold on to the hope that as bad as things may get, in the end, Christ wins.
